Monique Goessen gives donation for our families in Ukraine

A few weeks ago I was surprised by a call from Limburg in the south of the Netherlands. On the phone Monique Goessen who recently went to our streetchildren in Kharkiv.
She had taken a very negative experience and told me there was a financial compensation. A big part she want to make available for one of our families in Ukraine. I asked her why and her answer was:

Nico I lost my heart to UA. Why exactly? Difficult to articulate, but an attempt. Despite all the difficulties UA people are so powerful which triggers me. It's a place I love to come and will continue to come. There are many needs that we all know. To do something from NL is a challenge that I want to accept and try to shape it. Quite unexpectedly is an unpleasant event for myself ended in a financial compensation. Money and materialism have a little value for me as long as I live. I do not believe in coincidence exists. Everything that happens has a purpose. I have therefore decided that a portion of the money that I received is not for me but for families in UA who need a lot more than I do.
